Nazanin Raissi (b. 1981, Tehran) resides and works as a visual artist and psychologist in Gothenburg. Her artistic practice, rooted in the photographic medium, revolves around themes of memory, time, loss, and belonging. She explores these themes by intertwining her own history and recurrently using the family photo album as a source. Nazanin Raissi obtained her master's degree in photography from the University of the Arts London in 2019. Her works have been exhibited at institutions such as The Gothenburg Museum of Art, Alma Löv Museum, and CFF – The Centre for Photography.
